On Wednesday, the #3 Ranked Lady Rangers faced off against Wood Memorial in IHSAA Sectional #48 in Tell City. The Lady Rangers wasted little time in getting on the board. In the 5' senior Avari Boeglin laid a ball off to fellow senior Sydney Berger who fired a shot from 25 yards out which went over the goalkeeper's head. Less than a minute later, this combination repeated itself, this time from a corner. The Lady Rangers were up 2-0 inside of six minutes. Despite numerous chances, they were unable to add to their lead until the 29' when sophomore Makenna Morrison knocked in a loose ball. The score would remain 3-0 at the break. After the break, senior Paige Memmer collected a pass from Makenna Morrison and hammered home the final goal of the night in the 44'.
