On Monday, the #3 Ranked Lady Rangers traveled to Tell City to open-up IHSAA Sectional #48 play against Evansville Day School. The Lady Rangers came out ready to play and immediately began asking questions of the Lady Eagles' backline. The opening goal came in the 8th minute on a senior-to-senior connection. Avari Boeglin found the head of Paige Memmer from a corner kick. Just two minutes later, sophomore Mallory Morrison found the back of the net and the Lady Rangers began to pour it on. Junior Margrethe Langelund-Arnstrup added another in the 13', Freshman Morgan Kerber banged in shot from the top of the 18 in the 23'. In the 32' Mallory Morrison slotted a ball to fellow sophomore Ellie Meunier for a tap-in. Avari Boeglin rounded out the first half scoring in the 37'. In the second, the Lady Rangers bagged three more goals to end the contest early. The Lady Rangers (14-2-1; 11-0 PAC) are in the semi-finals against Wood Memorial on Wednesday.
