The Forest Park Boys Tennis team traveled back to Jasper to play in their first Sectional Championship in at least 6 years. The Rangers came into this match against Jasper knowing the difficulty of winning this match. FP kept their positivity and confidence going into this match, but in the end was just no match for the Wildcats. Jasper has won 21 straight sectionals. Scores vs Jasper: 1 Singles: Jace Brockman lost to E. Rowling 0-6, 0-6 2 Singles: Miles Rea lost to N. Aguilera 0-6, 1-6 3 Singles: Trey Benton lost to M. Braun 1-6, 0-6 1 Doubles: Eli Brockman and Clayton Roesner lost to C. Knies and C. Werner 1-6, 0-6 2 Doubles: Jace Betz and Drew Fischer lost to K. Roth and E. Hartings 0-6, 0-6 The Rangers finished the season 10-8, an improvement from last year 8-8. The Forest Park Boys Tennis Program is sad to see Eli Brockman and Clayton Roesner end their career on Thursday evening. The impact both of those Seniors had on the program was significant and they will be missed. Wish them good luck in their next endeavors.
