On Thursday, the #3 Ranked Lady Rangers traveled to Fort Branch for a PAC match-up against Gibson Southern. After yet another heat wave hit Southern Indiana, the Lady Rangers were ready to battle, but they faced another opponent also--injuries. Two Lady Rangers' starters were forced off the pitch; however, that did not stop them from competing against a talented PAC foe. After an sluggish start, sophomore Ellie Meunier got the first goal in the 25' after slotting it past the Lady Titan Goalkeeper, and the visitors would go into the break with a single goal advantage. After some tactical adjustments at halftime, the Lady Rangers would go into the second period with a new strategy and focused on shutting down any attacks by their opposition. Senior Avari Boeglin bagged the insurance goal in the 70' when she headed home a Lily Muller cross. The Lady Rangers (10-1-1; 8-0 PAC) are back in action Monday, when they travel to South Spencer for another PAC Conference match. Goals: Avari Boeglin & Ellie Meunier Assist: Lily Muller
