On Monday, the Lady Rangers welcomed county-rival Northeast Dubois to Cedar Crest Intermediate which would be a rematch of last year's sectional title tilt. The home side began asking early questions of the Lady Jeeps' Defense, but were unable to get past the talented freshman goalkeeper. In the 35', sophomore Ellie Meunier collected a long ball and dribbled her way down inside the opponents penalty area for an emphatic finish. The home side would go into the break with a one goal advantage. The Lady Rangers started the second half, again, asking questions of the Jeeps' backline, but they were unable to break through until the 65' minute when junior Kenley Schipp found the chest of senior Paige Memmer from a corner kick. The Lady Rangers were not flawless, however, giving up a late goal in the 78'. The Lady Rangers (9-1-1; 7-0 PAC) are back in action on Thursday, when they travel to Gibson Southern for a PAC conference match. Goals: Paige Memmer & Ellie Meunier Assist: Kenley Schipp
