Junior High Boys V Soccer Defeated by Boonville On Thursday, August 20th, the V Rangers fell to Boonville 5-0 in Boonville. The Rangers were able to compete in the midfield but struggled at both ends of the field. Junior High Boys JV Soccer Falls to Rangers On Thursday, August 20th, the JV Rangers won 6-2 at Boonville. The Rangers took a 3-0 lead into halftime. After Boonville made the game exciting with two goals near the middle of the second half, the Rangers were able to score three goals near the end of the game to secure the win. Joshua Parra scored the first and third goal on a cross from Bennett Sitzman and a through ball from Jase Rickenbaugh. For the second goal, Felix Schmuecker outran the goalie and made a nice finish with a through ball from Kreed Weyer. In the second half, Ryder Winters sent a quickly taken free kick to Sebastian Sicard whose goal restored a two-goal lead. Seba scored again a few minutes later with a nice finish from a Leo Schaeffer through ball. In the final seconds of the game, Liam Cooper sent in a great corner kick to Bennett Sitzman who collected the ball and tucked it inside the post to finish the game with a goal. Throughout the game, Zander Berg and Eli Reckelhoff played strong in the center back position helping to keep the ball on the offensive side of the field.
