7th Grade Lady Rangers Defeat Jasper 40-32

The 7th grade Lady Rangers went on the road Thursday night and earned a hard‑fought 40–32 victory over the Jasper Wildcats, pushing their win streak to 15 and improving their overall record to 15–1 on the season. Maci Combs led the Lady Rangers offensively with 15 points, followed by Madelyn Berg with 12, Raylee Weyer had 9, and both Annabelle Giesler and Elsie Warren adding 2 points each. Warren anchored the team's rebounding with a team‑high 11 rebounds (4 offensive), while Berg pulled down 9 (6 offensive). Weyer and Combs each added 3 rebounds, Brooklyn Dooley grabbed 2, and both Braxlynn Cole and Giesler had 1 apiece. Warren also paced the team with 2 assists, while Berg and Weyer each had 1. Defensively, Combs also turned in a strong performance with 3 steals and 3 deflections. Berg and Weyer added 2 steals each, while Atkins and Warren each collected 1 steal, with Warren also recording 3 deflections. Giesler added 1 steal and a team‑high 4 deflections. With winter weather expected to move into the area this weekend, the Lady Rangers remain hopeful they’ll be able to close out their season as scheduled on Saturday with a road matchup at North Posey.
